What is IBO Player?

IBO Player is a media player for Smart TVs, TV boxes and phones. It plays your own M3U playlist or Xtream Codes login, with an EPG guide, movies and series. After the free 7-day trial you need an activation, which is tied to the MAC address of one device.

Please note: IBO Player contains no channels or other content. You use your own, legally obtained playlist.

How to install IBO Player on your TV

First install the app from your device’s app store. It then shows the MAC address and Device Key you enter above.

Samsung Smart TV (Tizen)

Press Home, open Apps, search for “IBO Player” and choose Install.

LG Smart TV (webOS)

Open the LG Content Store, search for “IBO Player” and install the app. Then start it from the Home menu.

Android TV, Fire TV Stick and boxes

Search for “IBO Player” in the Google Play Store. On a Fire TV Stick, use the Amazon Appstore or install the app with Downloader.

Apple TV, iPhone and iPad

Download IBO Player from the App Store. The MAC address is on the app’s home screen.

After activation: add your playlist

IBO Player plays your own playlist. You add it on the official IBO Player website:

How much does IBO Player activation cost?

Lifetime costs €90, paid once. One year costs €50. Renewing every year costs €100 after two years, so lifetime is cheaper from the second year.

Where do I find my MAC address and Device Key?

Open IBO Player. The first screen shows the MAC address (six pairs of characters) and the Device Key. If you can’t see them, check the app settings.

My MAC address has letters other than A–F. Is that right?

Yes. On some devices IBO Player creates its own address, which can contain any letter. Copy it exactly as shown on your screen.

How fast is my IBO Player activated?

Usually within a few minutes after payment. Restart the app afterwards to see the activation.

Can I move the activation to another device?

The activation belongs to the MAC address of one device. If you replace your TV or box, message us on WhatsApp and we’ll see what’s possible.

Does IBO Player include channels?

No. IBO Player is only a player. You load your own M3U link or Xtream Codes login; the app provides no content itself.
