An M3U is a file or link containing the list of channels and movies you want to watch. HotIptv is a media player: we do not provide any channels ourselves, but play the playlist you receive from your own provider. So you need a valid M3U link, Xtream Codes login or MAC pairing.
Open your TV’s app store (Samsung Apps or LG Content Store), search for “HotIptv” and install the app. Launch the app and note the MAC address shown on the home screen. Enter that MAC address when activating and your channels will be ready within a minute.
The MAC address is shown right on the welcome screen of the HotIptv app, in the format 00:1A:79:XX:XX:XX. You can also find it under Settings → Device information. This address is unique and linked to your licence.
First check your internet speed: for 4K we recommend at least 25 Mbit/s, for HD 10 Mbit/s is enough. In the app, set the buffer size to “High” under Settings → Playback. If the problem persists, it is usually caused by your playlist provider’s server — our support team will help you test this.
