How to update IBO Player

A new version can fix loading problems and add features. Updating takes a minute, and your activation stays.

Samsung and LG

Most Samsung and LG TVs update apps automatically. If not, open the TV’s app store, find IBO Player and choose Update, or remove and reinstall the app.

Android TV and Fire TV

Open your device’s app store and check for updates. Installed the app with a download link? Install the newest version from the same source over the old one.

Apple TV and Roku

These devices usually update apps automatically. You can check for updates in the settings of your device.

Does my activation stay?

Yes: the activation is linked to the MAC address of your device, not to the app version. If a reinstall shows a new MAC address, send us the old and the new one on WhatsApp.

After updating

Restart IBO Player. If your channels do not load, reload the playlist or restart the TV.
