IBO Player not working? Try these fixes

Most IBO Player problems come from the playlist, the internet connection or an ended trial. Work through these fixes in order.

1

Restart the app and your TV

Close IBO Player completely, switch the TV off at the wall for 30 seconds and start again. This clears most freezes.

2

Check your activation

After the 7-day trial the app needs an activation. If the home screen still shows the trial or “expired”, activate it with your MAC address.

3

Check your playlist

No channels usually means the M3U link or Xtream Codes login is wrong or no longer active. Check it with your playlist provider.

4

Test your internet

Run a speed test on the TV or your phone. HD needs about 10 Mbit/s and 4K about 25 Mbit/s. Use a cable instead of Wi-Fi if you can.

5

Update the app

Install the latest version from your TV’s app store. Old versions can stop loading playlists.

6

Clear the cache or reinstall

On Android TV and Fire TV, clear the app cache; on Samsung and LG, delete and reinstall the app. The activation stays linked to your MAC address.
